Winter weather is an set continue this weekend with snow and sleet expected in the east of UK, after light the dust has fallen in south east of England on Friday morning.
The temperature will stay low on Friday evening, cold snap to -1C (30F) in northern Scotland and east midlands in the early morning on Saturday as a result in widespread frost. It will rain and sleet in it will be a little warmer in the west and there will be some snow in the hills over Wales, possibly also landing in lower heights.
The weather bureau warned of potential traffic disruption due to ice on Saturday due to snow and hail in in north-east and east of England stretching from the border with Scotland down to the east Midlands.
Although the temperature will be low for time of year a lot of Britain will see solar periods on Saturday.
