But you will succeed if you really put your puzzle solving skills to the test.
Players are required to work out how much a man would earn after buying and selling his cow.
Posted on X (formerly Twitter) by Quiz Riddles, the quiz states that a man bought a cow for $800 and the sold it for $1000.
The man then bought the cow again for $1,100 before selling it again for $,1300.
It’s your job to work out how much the man earned.
For season puzzle solvers, this may be a walk in the park.
But for those who aren’t the best at using their cognitive skills to work out the answer, this could prove to be a much tougher challenge.
The problem has been described as “too absurd” by some, while others another said the challenge “appears to be simple”.
Lots of different answers were provided in the comments section by those who had attempted to solve the puzzle.
A number of people guessed the man was left with $100, $200, or $300.
Rather than attempting to solve it themselves, some people joked about their answers.
One person jibed: “You earned my respect bro, you are a real trader.”
Another added: “I don’t know, but you make questionable financial decisions.”
A third said: “I need to buy and sell cows, seems like easy money.”
However, the answer was eventually provided two days later.
The account (@quiz_riddles) revealed that the man would have been left with $400.
One user helped to explain the final answer.
They said: “If your only money is the initial spend ($800) your total earned is $300 because you will have a -$100 on your acct.
“But in this scenario where only earned is the answer on both transaction you will get $400.”
