Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has identified Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo as the two players that helped his team defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday night in Spain.
Ancelotti said Camavinga and Rodrygo gave Real Madrid fresh legs when they came on during the match, adding that it helped the LaLiga giants push on against PSG.
Karim Benzema’s hat-trick ensured Real Madrid defeated PSG at the Santiago Bernabeu and qualified for the quarter-final on a 3-2 aggregate win.
Kylian Mbappe did score a goal for Mauricio Pochettino’s men during the encounter.
Speaking at a post-match conference, Ancelotti said: “After scoring the first goal, it totally changed everything and the fans helped us get over the line.
“Rodrygo and Camavinga came in, gave us fresh legs and that helped us push on.”
Real Madrid’s next fixture is against Mallorca in the LaLiga on Monday.
