Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has slammed Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard following their poor cameos in the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
Rashford was named on the bench for the Premier League clash despite Ralf Rangnick being without Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
With United 2-1 down, Rangnick brought on Rashford and Lingard in the 64th minute.
Four minutes later, City scored a third and went on to dominate the Red Devils for the final 20 minutes of the match, during which Riyad Mahrez scored again.
“I thought they were better with Pogba and Fernandes up front than they were when Rashford came on,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“I thought they were even worse when Rashford and Lingard came on. I thought they were terrible.”
